You Should Take A Second, Think About It....

*ding* matter of fact, you should take four, b...and think before you fool with That writer named C....yes, I told y'all have a way of remixing damn near every song I hear to fit my mood. I swear, I've got a full scale library of murdered hits in reserve, I just haven't had time to post the lyrics.

Today's post, I will leave in the hands of my readers. Since the homegirl Memphiz did this first, it's coming courtesy of her. I ask you all, in the time you've read this blog, talked to me, in some cases met me, what do you think you know about me or how would you describe me? I won't tell you if you're right or wrong, but it should be interesting to see what you all think of me. So have at it!

    Yayy!!for the post! but anywho...

I think you are intelligent and shy around women. You seem to be the guy that women often like to talk to. You like sports of course...and dont like R-Kelly.

There is more but im in a rush.

Well, i ain't never met you, but knowing you to be the cool libra that you are, i would say offhand that you love your peace, you disdain drama, you are a man of your word, you are passionate an only seek that woman that is just as passionate an in love with you, for you. I know you Chris, but i don't...lol, but i do. You are a man of your word and deed, a lover, a beautiful friend, a giver in his own right...you are beautiful!

This seems really easy. You are a passionate man when it comes to what is important to you. A "little boy" in a grown man body.. (refer to your shyness)A bright dude who can concur the world if he choose to.

    Alright dammit, here goes.

Whatever I say, you've heard before from me. You're funny. You're smart. You're talented, and let's be honest, when it comes down to it, you're simply a really nice guy. (It's just that not everyone gets far enough with you to see it. Lol.)

I'm always wishing for you to find more self-confidence. You use this litany of personal "flaws" as evidence that people will never treat you right, but the truth is that if you hold your head high and only respond to respect, then that's what you'll receive.

For the life of me, I still can't understand why you let other people's opinions (particularly stupid people) color the way you look at life. We both know I've had my share of stupid people ("lingering..."), but the fact is, I like me, so it doesn't matter. All I want is for you to like you too. When you get there, you'll see everything else will fall in place.

And finally... I didn't choose my words carefully in a convo we had a while back -- when I said it seems like you like being in a place of self-doubt. What I should have said is that you're comfortable there, simply because you've been there for so long and that's all you know. (I should know that no one *likes* to be miserable.) So with that, I recognize how hard it is to move out of a certain mindset when you've had it for a long time. But honey... it's time to start moving. This past year has been marked with professional progress -- getting your degree, your first job and your first place. Now it's time to start on the personal. And that, my friend, begins only with you.

    :-)

I think you are a man in motion. When I first e-met you, you were a student, somewhat angry and unsure. But you always had a wit that was infectious. Now, just maybe two years later, you have a career, more confidence and a much better outlook on life. You never give yourself enough credit for all that you have accomplished. You have a big heart and are never stuck in the same place for long.

You take advice well and are sincere. It would be one thing to say don't change. But I can't say that because every change I've seen you make in your life has been for the better. I look forward to seeing you blossom even more. There is no limit for you.

I think I'll just have to give a big DITTO from my fellow "V" above me.

Most importantly the third full graph.

And don't say you don't want to be vain or something either. There is a difference between vanity and basic self-love.

And you have come a ways from when I first met you Chris, but you still have a ways to go.
